The Glad and Jim Pye Club Room

In 1993 Merrylands Amateur Swimming Club built a new Club Room at the Merrylands Swimming Centre.

The following Club Members and Supporters contributed to the construction of the Club Room by "purchasing a brick".
The Club acknowledges their contribution by listing their names on a plaque in the Club Room. We thank them for their support.

The Club Room was officially opened at our 25th Anniversary Carnival on Sunday, 13th November, 1993 by then Mayor of Holroyd, Councillor Allan Ezzy.

In 2006, the Club Committee decided to name the Club Room after Jim and Glad Pye in recognition of their service to the club since it was formed in 1968.
The Club Room was officially named the "Glad and Jim Pye Club Room" by the Mayor of Holroyd, Councillor Dr John Brodie, at a special ceremony on Saturday, 9th December, 2006.
