Australian Masters Championships - Day 1 - Latest News

Day 1

A great start to the 2015 Australian Masters Short Course Championships with 17 new personal best times swum and 4 medals.

Steven Nguyen won our first medal of the championships with a Silver in the 100m Individual Medley in a new PB of 1:06.96.
Graham Edwards, Margaret Edwards, Ian Johnston, Tricia Johnston, Craig Leckie, Lauren Leckie, Kylee Murray, Ian Wilson and Shelley Zerni also swam new PBs in the 100m Individual Medley.

In the 800m Freestyle, Steven won another Silver in another PB of 10:20.63. Alison Sakurovs also took home Silver in a PB of 11:20.99, while Ian Wilson won the Bronze in a new PB of 10:27.66.
Our other swimmers: Peter Johnston, Kylee, Melissa Cohen, Craig and Ian Johnston all swam new PBs.
