Alison Johnston won the Champion of Champions at the club's annual Presentation Evening on Saturday night at Club Merrylands.

This was the second year that Alison has received the award. The Champion of Champions is presented to the best all round swimmer, taking into account performances both at club and representative meets.
Alison is a deserved winner, having won both her Age and Open Championships, breaking the Senior Womens 50m Freestyle record in the process, and also representing the club at the Metro South West and Metropolitan Championships.

In the Graded Pointscore, Elijah Seruvatu and Tatiana Seruvatu were presented with the Junior Boys and Junior Girls trophies, while Graham Edwards and Margaret Edwards won the Senior competitions.

Alison also won the hotly contested Handicap Trophy for the second season in a row, while the other big competition, the Relay Competition, was won by the "FamBams" for the first time (Charmaine Sharp, Leanne Tovkach, Emily Tovkach, Haley Sharp, Adam Sharp and Karen Attard).

Elie Menhem received the Jack Smart Encouragement Award for consistent improvement throughout the season. The Jim Pye Development Award, or Minties Award was won by Michael Vicic. The Minties Award perpetuates the memory of Life Member Jim Pye.

Peter Johnston received the Lions Club Award for all his hard work behind the scenes throughout the season, while Graham Edwards received the Technical Official of the Year Award and was recognised for his achievement of becoming a qualified Referee.

Three members of the club’s swimming squads were recognised for their efforts at training over the past season. Charlie-Rose El-Riachi, Hayley Baker and Margaret Edwards all received a club beanie.

Thank you to all the people who helped organise the presentation and all who helped throughout the season.

You can find the full list of other awards presented on the night in the Presentation section.
