Congratulations to Jay Shrestha for representing the club at the NSW Metropolitan Short Course Championships today. This was the first time Jay has qualified for the Short Course Championships and adds to his qualifications following his strong summer season.
Jay had taken 2 seconds off his 50m Breaststroke time at the MSW Short Course Championships to qualify. His swim today was slightly slower but his second fastest swim ever in this event.
This meet was a great learning experience for Jay with warming up in extremely busy warm up conditions and dealing with race nerves. Onwards and upwards Jay!
