The 2007 NSW Metropolitan Short Course Championships will be held at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre on Saturday 30th June & Sunday 1st July, 2007.

The club will be represented by 2 swimmers at the meet, competing in 3 individual events.

Amber Johnson will compete at her first Metropolitan Championships since last qualifying three years ago when she swam the 50m Backstroke at the Championships in 2004.
Anthony Ventra will compete at the Short Course Championships for the second time and this year, he unexpectedly adds the 200m Breaststroke to his events, having taken over 20 seconds off his time at the Cumberland Short Course Meet in May to qualify for the event.

Our team will be competing in the following events over the two day meet:

Anthony Ventra
13yrs & Under 200m Breaststroke (Day 1 - Session 2 - 1:45pm)
13yrs 100m Breaststroke (Day 1 - Session 2 - 4:03pm)
Amber Johnson
14yrs 100m Backstroke (Day 2 - Session 3 - 10:09am)

Times should be used as a guide only.

Congratulations to the 2 swimmers for qualifying and good luck at the meet.
